A developer hired PDB Designs to consult on a home that hadn’t sold for years. I identified the dated design as the primary reason for this conflict. As such, I changed the flooring to a luxury vinyl wood in a herringbone pattern. All of the windows and some of the doorways were wrapped openings and had no casing so I added casings and crown molding to give the doors a fresh look.
The kitchen design had all of the latest trends from floating shelves, to gold metal accents. The blue artisan tiled wall positively impacted the design and I chose to apply a stacked pattern which created a more transitional style. I popped the blue color in the island again creating a furniture style in a distressed finish to complement the tiled wall. By selecting luxury appliances by Dacor it showed a potential homebuyer that quality furnishings are used throughout the home. After the remodel, the home was sold in three days: mission accomplished.
