PDB Designs was hired to create an interior with a contemporary, on-trend flair. We created a balance of straight lines, open grain textures, and bold lighting choices. Varying tones of grey appeared throughout the house including the custom, stainless steel hood with mirrored strapping to attract attention. The marble mosaic backsplash creates the bold contemporary feel with a unique geometric design.
The great room entertainment center is positioned across from the open kitchen and its beauty stands alone to not compete with the kitchen but to compliment it. Soft, greyish marble cut in long linear lengths laid in a random horizontal pattern creates the perfect surround to the contemporary fireplace. We designed simplistic moldings throughout the house to stay true to the contemporary design style. His and her master bath suite flaunts marble geometric patterns throughout. The tile mirror surround is built to compliment the large vanity mirrors and the mirrors have long linear pendants that frame them. Every room is given special attention as seen in one of the guest bathrooms shower niches with its artfully designed geometric pattern.
